Add an option in the settings to set signals to off.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.
We've just added the ability to hide the Signal icon from the presentation settings. To hide them, go to Settings > Presentation and uncheck the "Show Signal icon" box at the bottom. Signals will still work as normal for applicable slides.

This would be helpful as we don't always have internet where we meet and this causes the control screen to flash slightly as it is searching for internet to run the signal.

Yes, yes, yes!!! (Wish I could give it more than 3 votes!)

I need this. It's such a pain to be forced to manually delete this icon EVERY time we change or display a Bible passage.

Yes, this would be very nice.

Hello, is it possible for it to be a setting in your next update, under "settings" (advanced settings maybe?) where the signal icon is currently set on by default (to avoid confusing current users), but allows other presentation groups that don't use that feature to uncheck it?
Thank you so much for this piece of software. It has helped our church's transitions flow so much smoother.

I've used Proclaim from almost day 1 and have never had one comment about the signals icon on the screen from anybody in my congregation. It makes no difference to me whether this feature can be turned on or off. I'm to the point where I don't even notice it anymore. Do what ever you wish, just remember: With every little change, it means another update has to be sent out. The one complaint I have is there are far too many updates and this would create another one.

Also, there should be a method to delete signals which are automatically added (usually Bible references). Sometimes these show up, even if the reference isn't intended to be looked up or read.

We're not using signals and people in our congregation keep wondering about the little icon in the corner of the screen. It would be nice to be able to turn this on and off as desired.

The signals are great, but it would be nice to turn the ones that kick on automatically off (Bible passages). We use Proclaim in our Children's Church and since we don't want them using their phones in church (yes, some of our elementary kids have smartphones) it would be nice to turn off signals, or at least hide the little icon in the corner since it is distracting when not being used. Thanks

It should be the prerogative of the local church leadership and the authors whether or not to include signals with specific presentations or to use signals at all.

Yes, please give us an option to turn this off. It is quite distracting.
