GO TO selected slide when I click ON AIR
I want to be able to SELECT where I want to be when I click ON AIR. I can stop the presentation, edit something or show something from another piece of software, then restart the presentation, but when you click ON AIR it goes to the first slide in the presentation, but will not resume a presentation from a pre-selected spot.
This is possible by clicking shift+f5. Doing that combo of buttons will take you On-Air to the slide that you are currently viewing.

We still plan to make this feature more discoverable with a context menu option.

This has been a working feature for quite some time now but apparently Proclaim doesn't follow this post to closely in order to keep it updated. Try using "Shift+F5" after selecting the desired slide to start with "On-Air"

I agree this is a TOTAL pain and freaks new volunteers out.
We found a good workaround - hit F10 for blank screen then you can select any slide you want to display after.

You can go On-Air displaying the Currently-selected slide by hitting Shift + F5 (Windows) or CMD + SHIFT + Enter (Mac).
