AIRPLAY support for Mac!

For those running Macs, AirPlay support to be able to send the output to projectors or TVs hooked up over wifi with Apple TVs would make for an easy wireless setup for any new monitors.

Ben - Mirroring in Mountain Lion displays the same thing on both screens. AirPlay would enable the secondary screen to display the presentation while the primary screen would display the control interface. If implemented with multiple display outputs, you could have multiple AirPlay outputs that would allow for multi-screen setups or even confidence monitors or music screens for the musicians. The multi-screen setups could allow for two side screens that may display lyrics while a larger center screen may display a different video element.

This would absolutely help us. We are using Apple TV for videos and some presentations. We would like to have airplay functionality to eliminate our cables and make our presentations much more portable.

We are planning to start implementing Macs and the OSX platform over the next two years. I could think of some great implementations for this functionality.

I'd love some feed back on this feature - is it being given any thought?

Shouldn't this already be available via mirroring in Mountain Lion?
