create option to change default settings for new song. I know the exact font, alignment, size, etc I want for every song but must change...

    This goes against the expected behavior, which is to have pre-created styles for smart media. If you want to add a song with the styling you would like, use the ‘Reuse items’ menu to add a song you have previously created; this makes it so you do not have to reformat a slide.

        It does us good to hear how proclaim was intended to be used and that there's a reason behind why it does what it does. It's also good to know that there are other ways to get a default song format through the use of the "reuse" menu. I suppose we could even create a "dummy" song called "Default Song Format 1" etc. and reuse it when adding new songs.
        A perfect solution!

        Agree completely. This would save a TON of time to have default settings. It's very frustrating to have to recreate the defaults when you switch backgrounds.

        I agree, I run into this every time I import a planning center set list or change a background.
