Live video input
Capture a video input from a camera of other video device and display it to the main screen.
This is now possible within Proclaim using the Video Input feature and a transparent or partially transparent background

This is what I'm looking for as well. Not running the video out into a switcher for chromakey but taking the video in so that Proclaim records and uploads to our website.
Presently to add video there are multiple extra steps in order to record and upload a video: Proclaim (with chromakey areas) > Chromakey enabled switcher > Recording machine > Encoding > Uploading.
The ideal is: Video input to Proclaim machine > Record cue > Upload -

It would be better if we had the ability to do it without the video switcher like in easy worship.

You can do this using a switcher that supports chroma keys or a luma key set to black.

I've often wondered if it were possible to use a web camera and just point proclaim's web page service item at the relevant page - though since I don't have a webcan, the question is moot.
Only thing is, once you have video input, what do you do with it. do you just want to display it like a TV, or would you then want some way to use it as a background and overlay sermon points or lyrics over the top of it? The latter would be very useful, but I suspect the former is simpler.

I was just pondering this the other day. It would be perfect to be able to add an item that is a live feed camera. It would create a seamless full featured recording, instead of during the sermon just a static background or OSB. With the ability for a camera to stream to a web page, even set as a local to prevent internet lag, I don't think it should be that much of a jump to have this ability. Since proclaim is already grabbing audio a simple video input has to possible. Please :)

Is this similar to Live Video in ProPresenter?
