Editing and customizing slides
When I change the background of a slide I've made, all the titles and captions disappear. They need to stay put along with the Content. Trying to reproduce a slide with a different background takes a very long time and is awkward. Editing the titles and captions is very difficult.
And for some reason, even though it looks like I'm changing the font size for titles and captions, nothing is happening. This whole portion of Proclaim is extremely difficult and hard to use.25 votes -
More Video Formats Such as M4V Files
I use M4V files for most of my videos created on the Mac. If I cannot use this file format in Proclaim, I won't use Proclaim.

Now you can use boards to organize media. Make a board by selecting an item, then creating a board in the detail pane. Add other media by right-clicking any media item and selecting a board from the menu.

Automatically create closed Proclaim Groups
Proclaim user groups are open by default unless a purchase is made.

Ability to use Proclaim offline
One of the things making my team hesitant to use Proclaim, is the fact that there is no apparent way to use Proclaim in the event that our network goes down (which happens more often than I'm comfortable with), leaving us with a service and no presentation software.
7 votesThis is already supported. Once the application caches all the required content you can present offline. Use the icon in the upper right of the main window to track the cache progress. Signals and the remote will not work offline.

Automatic scrolling.
Have the preview screen at the bottom of the page automatically scroll to the next slide in the song when there are more than whats showing. Currently if you have more slides and you press the next arrow the next slid shows but you don't know where you are because the red arrow goes off the screen.

Create a user default for backgrounds and text.
This will make presentation uniform and save time. no need to customize songs individually. Also an "apply All" Feature to make this even faster or an "Apply to all Songs/Slides" for those of us who want uniform backgrounds.

Add shadow and outline
In edit mode, make text shadow and outline ability available so text will be more readable.

allow files such as images and videos to be uploaded (and encoded) in the background
Its painful that you have to wait for a file to be uploaded, especially for large video files. I would like to be able start an upload and continue using Proclaim while that's happening.

Show Slide Notes in Remote apps
It is possible to add Notes to a slide in Proclaim. However, they are not viewable in the remotes. This is necessary for speakers and others who want to view the notes while controlling the presentation

Provide the ability to change the delay for any presentation item
Provide the ability to change the seconds of delay for any presentation item or slide. This should also include turning off automatic slide advance anywhere in the presentation we need to.

Add more robust editing features for the text portion of the slides.
To add extra text boxes or modify the current text formatting is quite laborious and time consuming. I would like to see a more streamlined and integrated method for adding text boxes and the such. Something similar to Keynote or Powerpoint's "master slides" would be helpful in this regard as the current Proclaim master slides have very little variation.

Create custom color background
allow uses to pick custom color. Gradients would be nice. We are a small church and cannot splurge on Graceway right now. Customizable color background would be a breath of fresh air.
