Bible default settings for "Show reference..."
After setting up formatting for Bible verses, the settings remain the same with the exception of "Show reference on _____ slide"
We always want this selected, but for some reason have to reselect this with each following verse added to the schedule unlike the rest of the formatting preferences which remain according to the previous Bible reference.3 votesThanks for bringing this to our attention. Shorter transition time options (especially for fade)
Quickest transition time in Proclaim is 0.5 seconds. Other presentation programs allow for faster transitions, which is helpful on more upbeat songs when lyric changes need to happen quickly. A 0.25 second option would be helpful.

Allow users to open proclaim without updating it. Be me, Sunday morning, wait for proclaim to update, if it can, longer than 20 mins.

2 votesI’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience.
Looking back at the release just before this post, this was the one where we made everyone update so that we could get Proclaim updating in the background. This is how most updates happen now, and they’re applied when you open Proclaim.
We try really hard to avoid prompting you at startup. You should only very rarely be prompted to do so now.

Pause button for automatically advancing slides
For example, I can click on a slide in the pre-service loop and click pause to pause it on that slide so that it does not automatically advance. We would use this to display announcements as the pastor talks about them.

Pre-select all in Reuse item dialog
When opening the "Reuse Item" dialog, the text in the search field should be preselected, so I can just start typing to find my next item to reuse.
Currently, I have to either Ctrl-A select all or backspace out the previously searched text.

Markup live screen with iPad pencil or stylus.
Using the Proclaim remote software it would be nice to simulate a smart TV whiteboard. If we could allow the software to be marked up while presenting it would be helpful and cost effective for those teaching using a whiteboard.

Shuffle Background Audio
Add a shuffle mode to background audio. We play pre-service music, it would be nice to allow it to shuffle so the same songs in the same order don't play every week.

stream Proclaim output as IP stream
Transcode an RTSP or MPEG-TS stream of Proclaims main output screen. this can then be collected by your video team and used as one of their feeds to edit between.
We use Teradek Live:Air to stream our service to several sites. Live:Air, like many others, will accept 3rd party RTSM and MPEG-TS streams as additional feeds that can then be mixed between with cameras and images.
If we could get the proclaim output to appear as a feed for our video production team then the Proclaim operator can focus on words and images for the congregation locally while our video…

Reuse Item Groups
Our service alternates communion every other week. I have our communion liturgy slides setup in an item group, and I have an item group for the non-communion liturgy slides (there's just a prayer and a blessing instead).
I'd like to be able to select the entire ITEM GROUP for re-use in the "reuse item" dialog. This would allow me to much more quickly put together that part of the presentation.

Select Multiple Reuse Items before closing window
Has anyone considered the idea of having an option to keep the Reuse Item screen open and adding selected items until the window is manually closed? Although being able to select multiple items would be nice, I can see where that might be very difficult. I could live with selecting and inserting one item at a time, by either double-clicking, or right-clicking and staying in the window to select the next item. A single click could still work the same as now; insert the item and close the window.
13 votesWe’ve recently added this. Now you can hold down the CMD or (CTRL key on Windows) and select as many items as you want, then click “Add selected” to add them all at once.

PLEASE Allow 4:3 and 16:9 option for each display.
My slides output is a 4:3 projector screen and my confidence monitor output goes to a 16:9 tv screen. Please allow me to choose either for any output because right now I am forced to use 4:3 for both and it makes the words too small on the tv screen. PLEASE PLEASE (I will pay extra money)

Customize Confidence Monitors
Allow fonts to be enlarged, or colored. Enable a Different aspect ratio than the other screens. My singers cant see the text because it's too small and I can change it. They also can't read the gray preview line at the bottom.

Simple congregational app
We worship in a building with a very low roof and at time it can be difficult to see the presentation from the back - especially true when everyone is standing and singing.
I'd like a simplified 'congregational' remote app with only basic functionality allowing the use of local Wifi to locate the presentation PC and simply display the current slide. Allow changing of text color on confidence monitor
Because of the lighting in our worship space, the gray preview text on the bottom of the confidence monitor is illegible from our platform. The main text is fine. There is really nothing we can do about the lighting, so if I could make the preview text white it would make a world of difference.

Allow text box to have color and border options
Any way to allow the text box to have color and border options? Some backgrounds have a focal rectangle created where you can place text, but it would be nice if you could take the rectangle the text is already built in and have the extent of the box colored as the background, allow transparency, and even have a border around it. That way you can shape the focal point of the text around the actual text and you're not confined by the background image. This would also greatly help with slide images that use a lot of light and…

Crossfading audio between songs.
Song 1 would have 1.mp3 playing, then crossfade to 2.mp3 when the second song was advanced to.
We like to use mp3 PADS in addition to our band. Having these loaded on the presentation computer tied to the song would be great. Often the pads are longer than the song, so crossfade between songs and fade to 0% at the end.

Add Video Display Or Timer for Videos to Confidence Monitor
We use custom countdown videos for our "warm up" as we want higher quality countdowns that fit our series. But since videos don't show up on the proclaim confidence monitor and there isn't a timer saying when the video will end it makes it difficult for people on stage to know when to start. Even if you don't add output to stage display video support, at least enabling it to show how much time is left on the current video which could be automatic based on video length would help a lot!

Allow control over the Quickscreen Slides
Allow control over which slides are placed into the quickscreen, or at the very least, allow slides to be locked down or removed (such as "Amen!") so they can't be used.
